Annotate or Mark Up Photos Using Preview

Preview>Tools>Annotate> select option

Add rectangle, oval , arrow, text and many more to your image.

Note: Once you deselect a markup, that annotation is fixed, although you can still choose to revert back to original image and start over. It is better to make a duplicate image before starting.
