Reformat a Floppy Disk

1. Insert a PC formatted floppy into your Mac computer.

2. An icon will appear with "PC" on it.

3. Go to Desktop Menu > Special > Erase Disk.

4. In the dialog box, give it a new name if you wish.

5. Change format to Mac. Click "Erase".

6. It takes about a minute to reformat and verify.

Note: This procedure allows you to purchase PC formatted floppies which seem available everywhere.

Also you can reformat Mac disks for reuse.
