This image was taken by an astronaut on Extra-Vehicular Activity (EVA). Most of the ISS hardware showing along the bottom of the image is the new Japanese module. The smaller piece on the right side of the image was flown up on the flight before the last and that small piece (also Japanese) was mated to the larger module during this flight.
