TOPIC : ZOOM MEETING - GROUP FACETIME

HOW TO GROUP FACETIME

Our group met via ZOOM for an hour, swapped email addresses, then quit the meeting to reconnect on Apple Facetime a few minutes later. We learned a lot in a half hour and it did work nicely - - different than ZOOM but very smooth. We then exited Facetime and reconnected via ZOOM to finish our meeting. Some things we learned today:

Up to 32 people, 4-9 video tiles at one time, need MacOS 10.14.3 (Mojave) or higher with laptop or desktop

BASIC STEPS TO GROUP FACETIME - SEE ALL

NOTE: When initiating a Group Facetime, you need to type into the 'Enter' box a person's name or email or phone number. Begin next name on same line to add more people - see all STEPS HOW TO

How to remove all recent Facetime contacts

TIP 1
WIndow Shade - double-tap top of window to expand view; double-click again to reduce to original size

TIP 2
Command-F - search a webpage or text document for a specific word or number - great for a long list of phone numbers or assorted names

TIP 3
On the Favorites Bar, right-click to make a folder for your favorite websites; then Command-click that folder to open all enclosed sites instantly in TABS.
