How to
Upgrade to macOS Sierra
1) Go to the App Store
2) Click on the 'Updates' tab - then 'Free Upgrade' (requires OSX 10.7 or higher)
3) Click 'FREE UPGRADE' - download may take 1-2 hours, depending on your internet speed.
4) After download is complete, the installer will ask permission to 'Continue' to install Sierra and to where (if you have more than one Hard Drive connected to your computer, such as an external USB HD). *
5) Click 'Continue' to install Sierra. Your Mac will Restart automatically when finished.
*NOTE: If you wish to make a bootable install disk for macOS Sierra, use the free DiskMaker X with an 8GB USB drive - do this after Step 4 while the downloaded installer is located in your Applications folder. The USB Installer is extremely handy if you plan to upgrade other computers and wish to save a lot of time waiting for the downloads.
